Ibanez FS40DA – Foamed Acoustic Guitar Case Tweed

The FS40DA features a durable classic Tweed exterior covering with a rugged black polystyrene foam interior that absorbs shocks and external impacts — delivering reliable hard-case protection in a lightweight, travel-ready build for acoustic guitar players.

The purpose-built polystyrene foam lining cradles your acoustic guitar securely within the case, cushioning against vibration, pressure, and accidental drops — keeping your instrument safe during transport, storage, rehearsals, and touring.

The FS40DA includes two conveniently storable shoulder straps that convert the case into a backpack-style carry solution — giving players a comfortable, hands-free option for commuting, gigging, and travel without adding extra weight or bulk.

With an interior overall length of 1090mm and inner swell width of 410mm, the FS40DA is engineered for a precise fit with Ibanez AE, AEWC (except AEWC32FM), AAD, AAD 12-String, AW, AW 12-String, V, PF, and PF 12-String acoustic guitar models.

Weighing just 2.4kg, the FS40DA delivers hard-case security without excessive weight. Part of the Ibanez FS40 Series, which also includes cases for classical guitars, ukuleles, and mandolins — a consistent protective solution across the full Ibanez acoustic instrument range.
