About this product

The Ibanez RG420EX-BKF is a high-performance entry from the legendary RG Series — a platform that has spent three decades defining the benchmark for speed, precision, and strength in electric guitar design. Built in Indonesia to Ibanez's exacting standards, the RG420EX-BKF combines a solid Meranti body finished in a clean and commanding Black Flat with the iconic Wizard III Maple bolt-on neck, delivering the fast, flat, and thin neck profile that the RG Series has always been celebrated for. The 24 Jumbo frets across a 25.5-inch scale on the Jatoba fretboard provide a full two-octave range with smooth and confident single-note playability throughout.

The Quantum HH dual humbucker configuration — with Quantum humbuckers at both the neck and bridge — captures fast passages with precise note definition and delivers full-bodied mid-to-high range tone with a quick low-end response. The EdgeZero II tremolo bridge with its lower profile design and stud lock function ensures stable tuning and comfortable playing even during the most expressive tremolo applications. Black hardware throughout ties the entire build together with a focused and purpose-built visual character. For players across the UAE searching for a proven RG Series instrument that delivers genuine metal-grade performance with iconic Ibanez craftsmanship, the RG420EX-BKF is an outstanding and purposeful choice.
